Benny Tse, COO & Founder

Solar energy has interested me ever since I started my career as an architect. Before SunGreen, I had 14 years of experience in architecture, real estate development and construction. I co-developed with Rick Hsu several single family homes projects in Southern California, and led teams in numerous retail and commercial projects. During that time I worked on several projects that involved solar energy, and it always excited me to see this technology continuously progressing.

At the end of 2008, Rick and I traveled to Taiwan to visit a solar cell/module manufacturing. At first we were simply interested in incorporating solar energy into our real estate developments, but we discovered that we all shared an interest in supplying, designing and installing solar energy systems. It was there that we created the idea for SunGreen.

In addition to SunGreen, I serve as president of New Oasis Development Corporation, and in my free time I enjoy traveling and dining out. I received my degree in architecture from U.C. Berkeley.
