Kenneth Lin, CFO & Founder
My interest in solar was piqued during my MBA program at USC. Although I concentrated in finance and valuation, I took several strategy courses taught by a wonderful professor, Julia Liebeskind. She was extremely passionate about the environment, and frequently taught business, global, and financial strategy within the framework of renewable energy. Her enthusiasm rubbed off on me, and I began to see that a career in the green space fit with my goal of working in an industry that provided something useful to society and actually added value to the economy.
Prior to SunGreen, I worked in real estate finance and management. I served as an Asset Manager at Lindom Properties, where I managed a $120M portfolio of real estate investment assets and led over $50M in development and acquisition projects. In addition to my MBA from USC, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Sciences from UCLA.
I feel lucky to have this opportunity to leverage both my passion for weather as well as my past experiences and education in investment management and financing in this new and constantly-evolving industry.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing an inordinate amount of football and tennis, working out, reading, tracking weather, and whenever the opportunity arises, storm chasing,
