KPFK Solar Canopy Project

SunGreen Systems has contracted with KPFK (90.7FM) to design and install a solar parking canopy to help power its studios and offices in North Hollywood. KPFK already highlights radio programs that focus on the environment and renewable energies, and the addition of this solar parking canopy further demonstrates its commitment to a green future. The solar system, which will offset approximately 31% of the station’s energy costs, stands to make KPFK the first public radio station to power its facilities with energy from the sun.
