Equipment procurement is a critical part of any solar installation project. Choosing the right equipment ensures system longevity. Over the years, SunGreen Systems has established strong relationships with quality suppliers and vendors. We are constantly investigating various types of solar panels, inverters, and mounting systems while considering factors such as efficiency, durability, warranty, and cost.  We then identify the equipment/technologies that are the best fit for our customers.  A few factors we consider are:

  • Quality – We evaluate not only workmanship of the physical product, but also details such as equipment packaging quality and completeness of paperwork.
  • Bankability - High quality products from reputable manufacturers with proven track records instill confidence in financing partners regarding the project’s reliability, durability, and energy production.
  • Reputation – We solicit feedback from references and our industry partners to better understand who potential partners are and how they are to work with.
  • Service – In our experience, post-installation and warranty support are best when suppliers have a domestic footprint.  Thus, we align with partners that have support staff and offices in the U.S.  

Bottom line – system components are not commodities. We don’t simply look for the cheapest equipment.
