Solar you (and we) can be proud of

Since 2009, SunGreen Systems has been designing and installing custom turnkey solar PV solutions. These project summaries will help you get a better idea of our work. In 2015, SunGreen designed and installed a premium, 690+ rooftop solar panels for Mortech Manufacturing of Asuza, Calif. Prior to this, SunGreen also built an advanced commercial solar power system for the Los Angeles Dept. of Social Services in Glendale, Calif. This solar solution contained over 1,400 rooftop solar modules, custom installed atop the canopy of a parking structure. For YKK-USA Inc., located in Anaheim, CA, SunGreen designed and installed a cost-effective commercial rooftop solution containing 1,968 solar PV modules. These are just a few examples of SunGreen's extensive solar system design, engineering, and installation expertise. Challenge	Solution
This was a LADWP Feed-in-Tariff project requiring a lot of paperwork and learning new information from LADWP throughout. We learned midway through the process that LADWP's transformer was too small for the proposed solar system. The customer installed a new roof in conjunction with the new solar system, and so they wanted a ballasted system. LADBS has approved very few ballasted racking systems.	The customer was very patient with different bureaucratic delays and we ended up saving the customer on the overall install cost. The upgrade was going to cost an additional $90,000. We worked with our engineers to resdesign the system electrically to increase the DC/AC ratio to maximize production while staying within LADWP's transformer size. We worked with KB Racking who already has approved ballasted projects in LADBS territory to design a system that would satisfy their permitting requirements.

This amount of CO2 offset is the equivalent of planting 6,619 trees every year. For life of system 198,570 trees would have to be planted to offset this amount of CO2.
